The Fallschirmjäger of the Lost Cause - Normandy, June 1944
Following the two volumes dedicated to the Fallschirmjäger during the Battle of Normandy, with the support of General Meindl's daughter, Didier Lodieu returns to the subject by covering the formation and engagement of the 3. Fallschirmjäger-Division during the first half of 1944. You will discover its occupation and training in Brittany, then its departure for the Normandy front — a journey that would take up to nearly ten days for some, threatened at every moment by Allied aviation and Resistance attacks.
