Second-Hand Trade-In

Recycle your clothes by selling them on Forties-Factory.com

The concept is to sell your garments to Forties-Factory.com, which will offer them to others in the Second-Hand section of the website and at the Coignières store.

The economy is circular. Trade-in garments are valued according to predefined criteria and paid for with a purchase voucher valid on the website.

How does it work?

It's simple and quick. Send us an email at contact@forties-factory.com with a description and photos of the garment you wish to trade in. We will get back to you promptly.

Once the trade-in has been validated, you will receive a Mondial Relay label to post the garment(s). 

Upon receipt, if the garment matches its description (brand, size, condition, etc.), the purchase voucher will be sent to you by email. It is valid for one year.

If it does not match, a new estimate will be proposed to you. In case of disagreement, the garment can be returned to you at your expense for the postage costs.

What are the trade-in criteria?

Trade-in items are classified into 4 categories:

• New with tags — never worn
• New without tags — never worn
• Very good condition
• Good condition

Second-hand items must be clean and washed. Worn, damaged, stained, torn, or faded items, etc., will not be accepted for trade-in.

What is the trade-in value?

The tables below provide an indicative trade-in value depending on the item and its condition. The exact value will be confirmed by us upon receipt of the item. We reserve the right to refuse any trade-in for an item that we feel is not suitable for our clientele.
