Passionate about fashion and with a particular fondness for American style from the 1950s to the 1970s — jeans, work jackets, varsity jackets, military clothing, aviator jackets, boots… the brand's founder creates for himself… Like this jacket, reminiscent of a Swiss Army military model, which he revisits with his own cut and fine materials. On a sunny morning, after a motorcycle ride, he stops for a drink in an old country café. You know the kind that also serves as a grocer's, a tobacconist's… Inside, everything is vintage — nothing designed, nothing contrived, a timeless atmosphere down to the furniture… The café is called « Chez Tonton »… He adds « Fils »… That persistent idea of durability, of passing things on… and absent-mindedly writes on a scrap of paper « Tonton et Fils »… The adventure can begin!
