1966 Jungle Jacket Olive – Tropical Combat Uniform Jacket

The 1966 Jungle Jacket is derived from the Tropical Combat Uniform, the standard uniform of American soldiers during the Vietnam War. Developed in the early 1960s, it was specially designed to withstand the extreme conditions of the jungle: heat, humidity and dense vegetation.

Made from lightweight cotton poplin, this jacket offers breathability, quick drying and durability. True to the original model, it is equipped with four spacious patch pockets for carrying maps, field dressings and field equipment.

The buttons are concealed under a flap, preventing them from snagging on vegetation — a signature functional detail of this model. Its authentic loose fit ensures comfort and freedom of movement.

A true iconic piece, the Jungle Jacket has profoundly influenced the design of modern military and outdoor clothing, and remains to this day a benchmark of utilitarian style.
