S-NECK TB Outdoor Knife with Kydex Sheath and Paracord

The organisation of the international exercise Air Raid 2019 was entrusted to the BA 942 Capitaine Jean Robert de Lyon Mont Verdun. This exercise aims to validate the military skills of French Air Force personnel while also developing ties between active-duty personnel and members of the military reserve; to this end, the rules require each team to be composed of at least two reservists and at least one active-duty member.

The Auvergne knife-maker TARRERIAS BONJEAN is particularly proud to have been able to contribute in its own way to the success of this fine event through the development of this neck knife, the S-NECK®, one of which was presented to each of the 500 participants at these memorable days.

This S-NECK® knife has a story we love. The Air Raid association asked TB-Outdoor to create, for the 20th edition of their association, a unique knife:

S-NECK® is pronounced SNAKE, as in the English word for serpent.

This knife is tattooed on the back and can be used perfectly as-is with its Kydex sheath moulded to the shape of the blade. To attach the sheath around the neck, you have 2 metres of Paracord included at delivery, which can be cut to the desired length.

Of "tanto" shape, inspired by ancestral Japanese swords, the S-NECK® is a neck knife. Tattooed on its rear section, it can be left as-is or braided with the supplied Paracord. The 2 metres of Paracord allow the handle to be braided while using the remaining length as a lanyard for wearing around the neck.

The Kydex sheath also provided is moulded to the shape of the blade. It allows you to carry the knife on your person in complete safety.

The material used for the blade is Nitrox®. This is a nitrogen-enriched stainless steel, which gives the knife outstanding resistance to corrosion and the cutting edge exceptional resistance to wear.
