MARINE CORPS TANK MARKINGS IN THE PACIFIC
The markings applied to Marine Corps tanks in the Pacific are a source of great interest for armour enthusiasts, and especially for scale modellers, who find in them an almost endless diversity and originality.
However, apart from a few scattered references in books covering broader subjects, there are no specialist works in English on the topic. This publication details and explains for the first time the markings used on USMC tanks between 1942 and 1945.
A chapter is devoted to each of the Marine Corps' armoured units, briefly recounting their engagements and describing tank markings down to section level, with the aid of numerous period photographs and detailed colour profiles.
