More than 500 images, all taken from soldiers' personal albums, are brought together here. They show us their daily lives — training, fortifications, reviews and official visits, as well as leisure activities. These photographs also hold historical and architectural value, revealing the appearance of Norman towns and villages before the widespread destruction of 1944.
