Through a fresh approach, this work invites you to understand History by bringing it back to life through images — imagined visions of a distant era, yet still present thanks to enthusiasts and collectors who have chosen to preserve objects and documents from that period.

This account is illustrated by a series of staged scenes in which the participants recreate a slice of life before the camera, as if it had taken place more than seventy years ago.

Rationing, shortages, and political and cultural questions are addressed in an unprecedented way.
