After writing about wartime bereavement (1929 jours. Le deuil de guerre au XXIe siècle, Les Belles Lettres, 2016), Nicolas Mingasson went to meet servicemen and women (officers, soldiers, medical personnel, photographers) and their loved ones, who agreed to share with him their suffering, their daily struggles, their distress, but also their hopes in the face of this widely overlooked syndrome. A unique and vertiginous immersion into the world of war trauma.
