NUTS & BOLTS VOL 50: Sd.Kfz. 7 - 8 ton Zugkraftwagen Krauss-Maffei and variants - schwere 10 cm Kanone 18 & Sd.Ah. 115

As volume 34 devoted to the Sd.Kfz. 7 has long been out of print, we received numerous requests for a new edition. We therefore decided to respond to our readers' wishes. However, rather than offering a simple reprint, we chose to update and expand the content of the volume.

In addition to the revision of the original volume, we have added two elements closely linked to the use of the Sd.Kfz. 7: the 10 cm schwere Kanone 18 heavy gun and the 10-ton special trailer Sonderanhänger 115, both typical trailer loads for this artillery tractor.

The result is Volume 50, a work almost twice the size of Volume 34. It comprises 320 pages, approximately 320 historical photographs, nearly 250 photographs of vehicles and pieces preserved in museums and private collections, as well as 110 technical drawings of the Sd.Kfz. 7, the 10 cm schwere Kanone 18, and the Sd.Ah. 115.

The volume also features 20 camouflage schemes for the Sd.Kfz. 7, produced by Laurent Lecocq from historical photographs. Finally, it is supplemented by twelve K.St.N. tables corresponding to the unit types equipped with these vehicles and artillery pieces.

Since Volume 34 on the Sd.Kfz. 7 has been sold out for a long time, but we have received continuous requests for a new edition of the volume, we have decided to comply with our customers' wishes. However, we did not want to simply publish a reprint, but first updated the content of Volume 34 and then added the 10 cm schwere Kanone 18 and the 10 ton Sonderanhänger 115 , both typical trailer loads of the Sd.Kfz. 7.
