A senior officer, Philippe Pasteau is a military historian of the French Army. The author of some twelve works, he is a specialist in artillery. An officer of the Army's heritage corps, Amélie Noiré is deputy curator of the Musée de l'Artillerie. She has contributed to publications relating to the First World War.
