The book that inspired the TV series BAND OF BROTHERS about the 506th PIR of the 101st Airborne, Easy Company commanded by MAJOR DICK WINTERS, at last translated into French.

Worldwide famous since the broadcast of the hit series HBO Band of Brothers produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks, Major Dick Winters was a US Army officer and a veteran of the Second World War.

During this conflict, he commanded the Easy Company of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division, the Screaming Eagles. This company was involved in every major engagement on the Western Front, from the Normandy landings to the Battle of the Bulge by way of Operation Market-Garden in the Netherlands, and ended the war occupying Hitler's Eagle's Nest at Berchtesgaden.

In 2006, joined by Cole C. Kingseed, he recounts his military career and shares the keys to success of a great leader of men.
