U.S. ARMY MEDICAL KITS 1941-1945
From the moment the United States entered the war in 1941, they deployed considerable energy and committed a colossal budget to equip the combat troops, in order to send them to the front in the best possible conditions.
The medical service took advantage of this modernisation to develop new capabilities. This evolution sought to make medical support more efficient and thus gain in speed to save the maximum number of lives. For these missions, the US Army Medical Department had its own equipment and consumable supplies, referenced in the Medical Supply Catalog, which serves as the framework for the book's presentation. Among these thousands of items, the present work details medical, surgical, dental, orthopaedic, ENT, gas casualty, jungle warfare kits and sets, etc.
The ideal complement to the Collectors' Guides for the US WW2 militaria enthusiast and collector.
