Pascal Theffo, born in 1959 in Normandy, discovered at an early age, alongside his collector father, the emotion of finding objects from the last war on the battlefields. He developed a genuine passion for which he documented himself with great interest from then on — discovering objects imbued with the events that marked history, rescuing them from oblivion, and restoring them to their historical context.

Readers will appreciate the photographs, the documents and their captions, which will remain forever, among others, as testimonies of that painful period that was the Lorient Pocket.
