This work also presents the equipment used by clandestine radio operators that enabled agents infiltrated into occupied France to remain in contact with London and later Algiers from late 1942. Most of the radio equipment, some of it extremely rare, is presented in colour for the first time.

The author

Son of a Resistance fighter, enriched by the friendship and trust of veterans, Jean-Louis Perquin came to prominence with the publication of highly regarded articles on the uniforms of Allied special agents parachuted in during the Second World War. In contact with numerous historians and museum curators in the United States, Great Britain, Norway and France, it is with passion and humility that he wrote this title in the Résistance collection.
