The TOTENKOPF PANZER REGIMENT - From 22 June 1941 to the End of the War
Through several testimonies and recollections of veterans, the reader is immersed in the daily life of a unit, the SS-Panzer Regiment 3 « Totenkopf », which fought exclusively on the Russian Front. It would be one of the most formidable. The Kriegstagebuch (war diary) of a tank gunner from this unit serves as the guiding thread of this work, enriched with documents for the most part previously unpublished.

This work of great iconographic richness is the fruit of many years of contact and work with veterans of the SS-Panzer-Regiment 3, the panzer regiment of the Totenkopf division, a division engaged without interruption on the Eastern Front from 22 June 1941 to the end of the war. These veterans had shared with the author their photographs and, for some, their war diaries, around which this illustrated chronicle is structured — taking us to the greatest tank battle in history, at Kursk, as well as to the final fighting in Hungary.
