Three operations with a Luftwaffe radio reporter: Norway, France, and over England

With this album, we follow three operations alongside a Luftwaffe radio reporter, through some forty dynamic and compelling reports, accompanied by around fifty photographs directly related to these accounts. Added to these is an introductory chapter on the first airborne operations in history — the Fallschirmjäger in Norway — featuring magnificent colour photographs. Also included are five aircraft profiles and around fifty previously unpublished colour photographs relating to the campaign in France.

Heinz Laubenthal's book, Mit dem Mikrophon and Feind (With the Microphone Before the Enemy), was published in 1942 in Dresden. It presents around thirty photographic reports on the early stages of the war. This book forms the core of the present work.

The work contains a total of approximately 170 photographs, nearly half of which are in colour. An original and fascinating journey.
