This 100% merino wool beanie is an exact replica of the headgear worn by the American Navy during the conflict. Like the original, it is made up of 8 pieces of wool joined in a cross pattern at the top of the cap. Merino wool is very soft, warm and non-scratchy.

Worn on the deck of ships, particularly during ocean watch duties, it takes its nickname from that role: "Watch Cap". 

It pairs perfectly with the N1 Deck Jacket or the Deck Hook Jacket USN.
