This 100% merino wool beanie is an exact replica of the headgear used by the U.S. Navy during the conflict. Like the original, it is composed of 8 wool panels joined in a cross pattern at the top of the beanie. Merino wool is very soft, warm, and does not itch.

Worn on the deck of ships, particularly during ocean surveillance duties, it earned its nickname: "Watch Cap". 

It pairs perfectly with the N1 Deck-Jacket or the Deck Hook Jacket USN.
