The Red Wing 6-inch Moc Toe boot was originally designed for hunters and farmers in the early 1950s. The Red Wing Moc Toe was built to withstand hard work in harsh weather conditions.

The Red Wing "Moc Toe" name derives from the word "Moccasin", the traditional Algonquian word for the U-shaped toe form.

The Red Wing 1907 boot is made in Copper Rough & Tough leather with an elegant look. The Copper Rough & Tough leather has a vintage, weathered appearance owing to the amount of oil used during its manufacture.

An important distinction from the rest of the Moc Toe family is the welt. The Red Wing 1907 does not have a Goodyear welt construction, but a Norwegian welt instead. In a Norwegian welt, the upper is attached to both the insole and the outsole, providing greater strength and durability. The white crepe Traction Tred cushion sole of the Red Wing 1907 boot offers maximum grip and exceptional comfort. Unlike most Red Wing Moc Toe boots, the Red Wing 1907 features a brown midsole and comes with raw leather laces.
