An iconic model from l'Atelier Don Quichosse in Mauléon, the famous Tuilère. 100% Basque manufacture.

The origins of this model date back to the early twentieth century, when it was worn by workers in the tile factories north of Bordeaux.

Picasso, having seen them, swore by this model alone. The original features black and ecru stripes, and we now offer a new presentation.

This classic historical model, comfortable to wear, is unisex. It suits both women and men.

All Don Quichosse espadrilles are handmade and finished with a coat of natural rubber scented with citronella.

Handcrafted production in the workshop located in the Basque Country in Mauléon, the espadrille capital.

The Don Quichosse workshop holds the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label.
