For 170 years, the 16th Battalion of Chasseurs à Pied has answered the call of duty. On the battlefields of both World Wars, through decolonisation and overseas operations, this elite unit has forged its identity as a chasseur à pied, proud of its past and resolutely looking to the future.

Whether in the heart of the Bitche country or on domestic and overseas operations, the 16th BCP continues to prove every day that it is the worthy heir of its forebears from Ramscapelle and Tannay.
