His concept "Être Sûr, Habile et Adroit" (Be Safe, Skilled and Precise) notably contributed to the development of the MTC (Méthode de Tir de Combat — Combat Shooting Method) and the ISTC (Instruction Sur le Tir de Combat — Combat Shooting Instruction). Both methods remain in use in the French Army.
