1943 CPO Shirt Moleskin Mustard – Pike Brothers
Life at sea has always been tough. Sailors' clothing, too, had to adapt to the most challenging weather conditions. Over the years, specific shapes and materials established themselves in the navy.
The 1943 CPO Shirt is one of those garments that emerged from the U.S. Navy. Both the cut and the fabric, developed in the 1930s, have been only slightly modified over the years. For this version, we chose an authentic 1940s cut.
It has two large chest pockets and offers a great freedom of movement. It was originally made in heavy wool.
It is made in moleskin — also sometimes called English leather — a fabric very commonly found among workwear garments.
Features:
- 100% cotton, 410 g/m²
- traditional 1940s cut
- made in Portugal
