The 1947 Roamer Pant features a classic 1940s jeans style. These trousers stand out with a higher back rise and wider thighs, providing optimal comfort and freedom of movement. The turn-up at the bottom of the leg pairs perfectly with boots or sneakers. The dark blue cotton-and-hemp selvage denim is exceptionally durable over time. Its raw, unwashed character develops a beautiful patina with wear, particularly thanks to the white hemp fibres woven into the denim.

The 1940s brought many changes to the cut of work trousers. Originally, denim trousers were designed as over-trousers and were therefore cut wide. But this changed fundamentally with the Second World War and the resulting material savings. Trousers were produced narrower and more fitted. After the war, the trend towards slimmer cuts continued and more specific cuts were developed for different occupational groups. The 1947 Roamer Pant is a typical example of this evolution. It is essentially a work trouser that was adapted to the needs of cowboys with slight modifications to the cut.
