The women's Iron Ranger 3365 Amber Harness is a classic shoe from the Red Wing Shoes range

It is manufactured by Red Wing Shoes in the city of Red Wing, Minnesota, USA. It is the women's version of the celebrated Iron Ranger 8111, a variation on the boots worn by American G.I.s in the 1940s.

It has been completely redesigned to suit the morphology of the female foot. Slimmer and lighter, it is constructed with the same rigour, using smooth cowhide leather and a softer insole for greater comfort. It is just as sturdy and durable as the men's version.

The style of the Red Wing Iron Ranger 3365 Amber Harness boot is inspired by the "Mesabi Iron Range" located in northern Minnesota. This is a mountain range known for its iron ore deposits. The proud workers who toiled in these mines were nicknamed "Iron Rangers".

The Iron Ranger from Red Wing is easily recognised by its double-layered leather toe cap which provides extra protection; the Red Wing Iron Ranger also features additional heel protection for better support.

Red Wing's Amber Harness leather is a natural leather with no pigment. As a result, Amber Harness leather ages beautifully and all its natural markings remain visible. The Red Wing 3365 Iron Ranger features an unbreakable, flexible and oil-resistant Vibram 430 Mini Lug sole with Goodyear welt construction. The 3365 is delivered with round black/brown taslan laces.
