1943 CPO Shirt Tijuana Yellow - Pike Brothers
The U.S. Navy CPO Shirt – a classic among outdoor shirts.
The sailor's life has always been tough. Their clothing, too, had to adapt to the most demanding weather conditions. Over the years, specific shapes and materials established themselves in the navy. The 1943 CPO Shirt is one of those garments that emerged in the U.S. Navy. Both the cut and the fabric, developed in the 1930s, were only slightly modified over the years. For this version, an authentic 1940s cut was chosen.
It has two large chest pockets and offers a great freedom of movement.
It was originally made in heavy wool. For this version, Pike Brothers chose 13oz selvage denim.
The following details characterise the 1943 CPO Shirt:
- 100% cotton
- traditional 1940s cut
- press-stud buttons
- made in Portugal
