1943 CPO Shirt 12oz Denim Indigo - Pike Brothers
The U.S. Navy CPO Shirt – a classic among outdoor shirts.
The life of a sailor has always been tough. Their clothing, too, had to adapt to the harshest weather conditions. Over the years, specific cuts and materials became established in the navy. The 1943 CPO Shirt is one of those garments that emerged within the U.S. Navy. The cut and fabric, developed in the 1930s, have only been slightly modified over the years.
For this version, an authentic 1940s cut was selected. It features two large chest pockets and offers a wide range of movement.
It was originally made from heavy wool. For this version, Pike Brothers chose a 12 oz raw (selvedge) denim.
- 100% cotton
- traditional 1940s cut
- snap buttons
- made in Portugal
