The OG-107 uniform was worn from 1952 to 1963 by the United States Armed Forces (US Army). The previous uniform was the one designated as the "Pattern 1947". The 1947 model was a combination of the summer uniform worn in 1940 and the garment that would become the OG-107 in the 1950s. This transitional uniform was made from 100% cotton HBT (Herringbone Twill) fabric used during the war. However, its cut and pockets would be those of the OG-107.

The uniform was made more functional by the addition of pockets on the legs or the shirt, such as a pen pocket for example.

The designation OD-7 refers to the color of the fabric. Olive Drab 7 is the darker khaki green color used for uniforms from 1943 onward.

OG-107 shirts have a roomy cut and are therefore ideal in all seasons, with or without a t-shirt underneath.
