The 1923 Buccanoy Shirt is a must for formal occasions. It features a "MAO" collar, as stand-up collar shirts were fashionable in the early part of the last century during the 1920s and 1930s. For evenings and special occasions, it was possible to add a starched detachable collar.

It therefore features a button at the back of the collar for this purpose. The high collar is available on the website. With its detachable collar and its elegance, the style of this shirt is not without evoking the Peaky Blinders. This type of shirt was progressively replaced by fold-down collar shirts in the 1940s.
