This very elegant shirt model was worn from the 1920s through the 1940s. Men's fashion had preferred straight-collar shirts since the mid-19th century. An additional collar, known as a "parricide" collar, could be buttoned onto it. This type of shirt was very popular until it was gradually replaced by fold-down collar shirts in the 1940s.

It features a "mandarin" collar because straight-collar shirts were fashionable in the early decades of the last century, in the 1920s and 1930s. For evenings and formal occasions, it was possible to attach a starched detachable collar. It therefore features a button at the back of the collar for this purpose. The high collar is available on the website.

With its detachable collar and its elegance, the style of this shirt is not unlike that of the Peaky Blinders
