It features a "Mao" collar, as straight-collared shirts were fashionable in the early part of the last century, in the 1920s and 1930s. For evenings and formal occasions, it was possible to attach a starched detachable collar. It therefore has a button at the back of the collar for this purpose. The tall collar is available on the site.

With its detachable collar and its elegance, the style of this shirt is reminiscent of the Peaky Blinders

This type of shirt was gradually replaced by turn-down collar shirts in the 1940s.
