Deck Zip Jacket – The inter-season jacket of American sailors

Introduced between 1942 and 1943, the Deck Zip Jacket was worn by all US Navy personnel. Lighter than the famous N1 Deck Jacket, it was specifically designed for transitional seasons, providing optimal protection against cold and moisture without the bulk of a winter jacket. It was available in navy blue or beige.

A fabric built to resist

The Deck Zip Jacket uses the "Jungle Cloth" of the N1, a water-repellent fabric resistant to water and cold. Its lightweight wool lining (less dense than that of the N1) ensures ideal thermal comfort for moderate temperatures.
