The 1937 Roamer shirt by Pike Brothers is crafted after the pattern of an American workwear shirt from the late 1930s.
Like the original, it is very comfortable thanks to its generous cut. Warm and durable, it is perfect for winter and transitional seasons.
It features two patch pockets. The left one is distinguished by two original details:
- the «smoker's pocket». In the first half of the 20th century, smoking was commonplace and workwear was adapted to make life easier for smokers. The smoker's pocket is cut in such a way that a soft pack of cigarettes fits snugly inside. This allowed the smoker to easily pull out a cigarette without having to take the pack out of the pocket.
- To the left of the smoker's pocket sits a pen pocket.
