The Red Wing 6-inch Moc Toe boot was originally designed for hunters and farmers in the early 1950s. The Red Wing Moc Toe was built to withstand hard work in harsh weather conditions. The Red Wing "Moc Toe" name derives from the word "Moccasin", the traditional Algonquian word for the U-shaped toe form.

The Red Wing 8146 Roughneck is a variant of the ultimate classic Red Wing boot: the Red Wing 875. The Red Wing 8146 boot features a black Vibram Lug sole and offers maximum grip and exceptional comfort. The Red Wing 8146 Roughneck boot comes with round yellow/brown taslan laces.
