The Chambray 1937 short-sleeve shirt by Pike Brothers is inspired by a late 1930s work shirt.
 
Like the original, it is extremely comfortable thanks to its generous cut. It is distinguished by an original detail: the "smoker's pocket". In the first half of the 20th century, smoking was commonplace and workwear was generally adapted to make life easier for smokers. The smoker's pocket is cut so that a soft pack of cigarettes fits neatly inside it, allowing the wearer to easily pull out a cigarette without having to remove the pack. The shirt also features a pen pocket.
This shirt is suitable for those involved in 1930s/40s re-enactment.
