It is nothing more than a brief but intense engagement between a Hungarian Me 210 Ca-1 fast bomber and nine Soviet Yak-9 fighters. This is not an adventure novel, but the true story of the author's grandfather — the man who gave him his passion for drawing.

A narrative based on the captivity diary kept by this airman after the war.

It is also the story of an already forgotten aircraft, produced in only a handful of examples.

Author Gyula Pozsgay was born in 1973 in Tatabánya, Hungary. He studied architecture and economics, but already during his university years he began working as a graphic designer and game developer. His field of work covers a broad range of activities: corporate identity design, online and print marketing material design, website design, computer and board game illustration, book covers, and murals. He also holds extensive experience in digital and traditional graphic arts, painting, and photography.

His grandfather served as a gunner aboard an Me 210 Ca-1 fast bomber during the Second World War and later became an amateur pilot and painter. He passed on to Gyula his love of flying and taught him the fundamentals of drawing and painting.
