The CPO Shirt was originally worn by the U.S. Navy and designed for Chief Petty Officers (CPOs). It is a heavy shirt, usually made of wool, often worn as a kind of light jacket. It is distinguished by its sturdy materials, two chest pockets and classic collar. Originally part of the uniform, it found its way into civilian outdoor wear over the years and is now a fixture in our collection.
The 1967 CPO Shirt is an updated version with two additional side pockets.
