1945 N4 Deck Jacket Waxed Doha – Pike Brothers
1945 N4 Deck Jacket Marram USN – US Navy Deck Jacket
Created during the Second World War, the N4 Deck Jacket was the intermediate field jacket of the U.S. Navy, the equivalent of the famous M-41 of the US Army. Designed for units operating ashore — notably beach battalions and the legendary Seabees — it adopts an olive shade suited to land camouflage.
The 1945 N4 Deck Jacket Marram faithfully reproduces the original design: a clean cut, without epaulettes or a swinging back, designed for functionality. It was intended for temperatures at which the N1 became too warm, offering ideal protection in transitional weather.
Its outer fabric in 225 g/m² cotton sateen ensures durability and comfort. Unlike the period model lined in wool, this version features a quilted 100% cotton lining, more comfortable to wear and easier to care for, while retaining the authentic spirit.
Fitted with an authentic Talon zip faithful to original models and supplied with a USN stencil for optional chest marking, it suits everyday wear as well as historical reenactment.
