An authentic US Navy diving T-shirt, introduced in the early 1960s for the UDT (Underwater Demolition Team). 

The Underwater Demolition Teams (UDT) were US Navy units that existed from 1942 to 1983 and are considered the forerunners of the NAVY SEALs. They took part in several conflicts: World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. Their primary function was to reconnoiter and destroy obstacles on beaches prior to an amphibious landing.

During diving training, the reversible T-shirt was used to differentiate instructors from their students, or students from one another when they were split into two teams.
