This reproduction of the US Model 1936 bag was originally worn on the soldier's back by hooking the two hooks of the two straps into the rings of the M-36 suspenders.

This version can be worn as a shoulder bag thanks to an additional canvas strap included.

During the war, this musette bag was carried by paratroopers and was also highly prized among officers. For many, it is also the school bag worn in the 1970s and 1980s at middle and high school. At the time, the first reproductions appeared alongside original bags bought at US Army surplus stores.
