« Genesis of Fascism » is an overview of all those political and social forces, ideas and historical circumstances that made possible the emergence of an ideology such as fascism, from a perspective free of the obsession for or against that unfortunately characterises this subject.

Jordi Garriga Clavé (born 1972) is a historian. Specialising in the social history of political ideas, he is notably editor-in-chief of the magazine La Emboscadura and also a member of the editorial board of the magazine Nihil Obstat and a regular columnist in the online press. He has written and published books covering a wide range of subjects: Los mitos del catalanismo (GRECE, 1998), La nación europea y otros escritos (Nueva República, 2010), El dedo en la llaga (Nueva República, 2013) and La génesis del fascismo (Fides, 2018). He has also contributed to collective works alongside other authors.

He has also written prefaces and translated several works, and continues to contribute to various Spanish and foreign publications.
