Gulf War, January 1991. On the eve of hostilities, eight members of a British SAS commando unit — one of the finest special forces in the world — are inserted deep behind Iraqi lines. Mission code name: Bravo Two Zero. Objective: destroy Scud missile batteries and sabotage enemy communications networks. Spotted by Iraqi forces, cut off from their rear base and isolated in a region experiencing its worst temperatures in over fifty years, the eight men must fall back towards Syria.
