Patrick R. Foster, automotive journalist and historian, is the foremost authority on the AMC group and its affiliated brands. He has written several works on this manufacturer, as well as on many others, notably Jeep and Studebaker. He has been published in most of the major specialist magazines and has received numerous awards from the AACA (Antique Automobile Club of America) and the SAH (Society of Automotive Historians). In 2011, he received the Lee Iacocca Award — one of the most coveted in automotive publishing.
