The Troyer probably owes its name to the English town of Troy Town, although there is also evidence suggesting the term derives from Old German.

Traditionally, the Troyer was knitted in pure wool, a material with water-repellent and insulating properties. Even when wet, wool retains warmth and thus protects against cold and wind – an essential characteristic for workers who spent days at sea. It is a timeless sweater embodying values such as robustness, reliability and simplicity.

It is made using RWS-certified merino wool from the Italian spinning mill Tollegno to guarantee the highest quality standards.

Features:

  • 100% Tollegno merino wool
  • Slim fit
  • Turtleneck with zip closure
  • Made in Portugal
