The 1928 Hunting Vest is a typical representative of the D-pocket hunting vests that came onto the market in the late 1920s. These vests were very popular because they offered plenty of storage space and also protected the wearer from the elements and dense vegetation.

The main feature of these vests was the large D-shaped pocket openings at the front. This is why they are also known among collectors as D-Pocket vests. In addition, the vest offers ample storage space to carry everything needed for hunting or urban adventures.

As far as the fabric is concerned, Pike Brothers used their proven waxed Junglecloth. This fabric is particularly abrasion-resistant and well equipped to withstand wind and weather thanks to its wax coating.
