As the year suggests, the historical origin of the vest dates back to the 19th century. At the time, vests were commonly worn at work to protect shirts from dirt and damage. The 1905 Hauler Vest therefore has a slightly narrower, more fitted cut.

Two front pockets and a drawstring at the waist complete the look of the vest. The Chicago Blue fabric comes from Portugal and is a blend of wool and linen, making it very lightweight for summer.
