The 1965 V-neck T-shirt is a piece from the Tubular Knit series.

Underwear such as T-shirts were produced on old tubular knitting machines until the 1970s. During production, a tube is knitted and then cut. Subsequent work steps attach the sleeves and collars, etc. The distinctive feature of tubular knitting is that the pieces have no side seams. This increases comfort.

One machine is required per size, which often makes them unprofitable by today's standards. But for Pike Brothers, the historical approach is just as important as the finished product. That is why we are particularly proud to offer these historic tee-shirts.

The 1965 V-neck cut is typical of the 1960s. It is a narrow fit with a V-shaped opening and slightly shorter sleeves. The shirts are delivered in a box of 2.
