Vintage Racing T-Shirt - Pull-on racing shirt from the 1930s/40s

These t-shirts were worn by motorcycle racing riders in the United States in the 1940s and 1950s. Sometimes plain, sometimes two-tone or striped, they often featured the colours or logo of their racing teams such as Harley-Davidson or Indian, or simply the team name. They thus served as advertising showcases for the brands. They are emblematic of the races of that era, and new bikers were quick to kit themselves out with the t-shirt of their favourite rider or motorcycle brand.
