The proud workers of these mines were nicknamed "Iron Rangers", emphasizing their adventurous spirit. The Red Wing Iron Ranger is easily recognized by its double-layered leather toe cap, which provides additional protection. In addition, the Red Wing Iron Ranger features extra heel protection for better support. The Red Wing Hawthorne Muleskinner leather has a golden look that gives the boot a vintage appearance and visual texture. The Red Wing 8083 Iron Ranger features an unbreakable, flexible, oil-resistant nitrile cork outsole. The Red Wing 8083 Iron Ranger comes with round black/brown taslan laces.
